Abstrak

This study aims to describe the results of student writing in the form of rhymes. This research uses a descriptive method. The samples used were students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Tridinanti University, Palembang. In this case, students often complain about the difficulty of writing, lack of ideas, laziness, and the paradigm of writing that takes a long time. The same reason is also not much different from writing literary works. Therefore, this research was made to facilitate students' thinking and encourage students to write from the smallest things in their lives. In addition, in order to make it easier for students to write, express their thoughts, write with quick responses and at the same time revive old literature, namely “Pantun”. Students in the 4.0 era are Generation Z who are familiar with technology and have a tendency to get and process information instantly. Students' interest in digitally sourced things requires educators to change to create digital learning innovations. Therefore, students as owners of fields of perfect language skills should be able to write skillfully using digital. It is not too difficult to introduce rhymes as intangible cultural heritage for students to be used as stories or statuses on their social media. One example on the whatsapp group status "Ada itik bermain di air, Ada kera memakan pisang, Biar cantik dan tajir, Tidak bisa jadi pacar kalau tidak sembahyang". If it is read it may be normal, but what needs to be emphasized again is that students can write with a variety of ideas and vocabulary so that learning objectives are achieved and digital use is used.
