TANTANGAN DAN KESEMPATAN DALAM PROGRAM MERDEKA BELAJAR-KAMPUS MERDEKA (MBKM)

Abstrak

Quality education is the expected goal in education. The government has set in 2020 to start the MBKM program. This policy encourages students to be able to master various knowledge that is ready to use and relevant to the needs of the times when entering the world of work. The purpose of this writing is to find out how to take advantage of the MBKM program? The research method uses qualitative methods, through observation, documents and testimonials from PGRI Palembang University students (UPGRIP). The results of the study show that universities, faculties and study programs facilitate the MBKM program through an independent curriculum. Lecturers and students take advantage of the MBKM program. Lecturers prepare online learning and guide students in participating in the MBKM program. Students can develop their capacity, become multitalented, because they not only understand the knowledge and technology of their study program, but also study in other study programs on campus or off campus. Exchange and intermingling between cultures, among others, are the benefits of activities in the Archipelago module. In the end MBKM becomes the Main Performance Indicator of Higher Education.
