Abstract

Professional teachers are required to master ICT not only for learning activities in class, but also required for all educational activities. This study aims to analyze and describe the challenge  of private high school teachers in utilizing ICT learning in the new normal era. This research uses qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach. The research subjects were private high school teachers in Sekayu City in the 2022/2023 academic year. Data was collected using observation techniques, documentation and unstructured interviews. This research has succeeded in concluding that most of the teachers at private high schools in Sekayu City in the new normal era have been able to utilize ICT for all activities, both learning activities and other activities. However, there are still a small number of senior teachers who still have ICT stuttering, especially teachers who are nearing retirement age. This research proposes a solution for every teacher in all educational institutions, especially teachers in private schools in utilizing ICT.
